I own a 2003 neon SXT and have been wondering and looking to changing the crankshaft sensor on it. i recently replaced the camshaft position sensor but now its kicking code 0344. was told its probably the crankshaft sensor. its not located by the oil filter like mentioned on some websites. wondering where else it will be? thanks

 

Should be under the starter/intake manifold. Don't know why it would be by the oil filter...

 

ok so i found the crankshaft sensor and replaced it along with the camshaft sensor too. but the car is still kicking code 0344..? wiring needs to be checked?

 

Wouldn't be a bad idea.
