Default 2002 Dodge Neon Electrical Help

I just got done rewiring a headlamp/parking lamp assembly and replacing my bumper cover. For some reason, I keep blowing my Panel Illum fuse each time the headlamps get turned on. There were no shorts in the circuit and all lamps are functioning.

I mirrored the pinout of the opposite headlamp, but the ground/hot wires were different colors.

It was the passenger side parking lamp.
1) Red, 2) Black w/ stripe 3) Black

Can anyone out there confirm thats the correct wiring? Any other ideas? Possibly throw another ground to the frame?

Did that happen before you rewired it?

Default Dont worry. Everyone viewed my question and didnt answer

The hot wire and signal wire were shorting inside the connector. Thus putting the hot path into the pnl illum (where it indicates the turn signal) and blew the fuse. Makes sense now as to why the lights still worked but not the pnl.
