I have a 03 Neon that recently had the timing belt, serpentine belt and tension pulley, and battery replaced. Since then I am having issues with the car cutting off or trouble starting. There seems to be no pattern to when it chooses to run and start correctly. Sometimes it's fine for a few days, then it shuts down in the road. It always cranks back up but takes multiple tries. Sometimes there is a check engine light... other times not. I am now also getting a battery light from time to time.... The current codes are as follows though there have been other codes reading... depends on the day.

P0129-BAROMETRIC PRESSURE OUT-OF-RANGE
p0351-ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malufuction
p0352-similar to above?
p0622-GENERATOR FIELD CONTROL CIRCUIT
p0688-ASD RELAY SENSE CIRCUIT LOW
p2503-CHARGING SYSTEM VOLTAGE LOW

any other codes I've gotten seem to be sensor/electrical related.

I would try replacing your ignition coil pack. They're about $80. If you want to be sure before you replace it, you can look online how to test an ignition coil pack with a multi-meter. I've done it before, it's a very simple procedure.

 

Well... I seem to have fixed the problem which was actually 2 problems from what I can tell... or became 2 problems.

The alternator was going... and eventually went. After this was replaced it ran fine for a day or so... and started cutting off/not cranking. After some research I tried changing out the ASD relay. With a new relay it cranked every time... with the old one it refused to crank. I switched them back and forth 4 or 5 times and always the same result.

Hopefully this is is the solution. I'll post any results here.
