Can anyone tellme how I can tune my engine so that the RPM's won't be going as low as 500... The check engine light doesnot come on but I don't like it idleing at such a low speed.

And I also want to know how I can tighten the the throlttle cables running to a pully(whatever) it seems like when I rev my engine it takes a while for it to come back down the Idle speed.

Is this something that simply has to be cleaned and taken care of?

i'm pretty sure the cars supposed to idle that low but i've found all you got to do to bring it back up is turn the steering wheel and it brings it back to 800rpm i think it is.
