Car won't start not sure if its ignition
My car is a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT
The other day i drove to my friends house (about 20 miles) my car was completely fine nothing unusual, i stayed over for about 8 hours and when i was trying to leave i place my key in the ignition and that's when i started to have trouble.
When i turned my key half way none of the dash lights came on, but when i fully turned it they all came on, then when i tried to turn all the way to start up the car i heard nothing, the engine didnt want to turn on.
But i have an alarm system with a starter button to turn my car on i used it and it worked. So i was wondering if anyone knew exactly what it was and how much it would be to fix?
