Hey guys, it's been a while...
2005 Dodge Neon w/ 57,000 miles on it.

Car has been running fine and then it threw these codes. On 0622 I found something that says something about a short... not to sure whats going on. I have no clue about the other two codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We get:
P0032 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0622 Generator Field "F" Control Circuit Malfunction
--------Sounds like a bad alternator IMO.
P2503 Charging System Voltage Low
--------Doubly sounds like a bad alternator IMO.

How to fix:
P0032- Check O2 sensor wiring for any frays, breaks or ground outs. This should be the one before the cat.
P0622 and P2503- Have alternator tested. If bad, replace (I actually have a good one, it's been tested, laying around somewhere if you'd like).

 

thanks for the advice. took it to a mechanic and it was the voltage regulator... $870 in repairs...

i got the car back and now it's making a howling/grinding noise when i hit a certain spot turning the wheel. it was doing it a lot on the interstate going 70-80 mph.... doesn't do it when i'm going slow.. not to sure what's going on..

suggestions?
