front wheels vibrate while braking

Default front wheels vibrate while braking

hi i dirve a 2003 neon sxt and lately while braking at freeway speeds the front wheels vibrate like they are out of balance but they only vibrate while braking no other noises so do i need to replace my tie rods or ball joints or what not any suggestions would be great thanx

Your rotors could be warped.

That's usually warped rotors. Worn suspension components could make the feeling worse too.

if you left her parked for any length of time you could have formed some rust pitting on an area of the disc where the pads were.
make sure they are smooth not grooved and when u spin it listen carefully for any uneven scraping,(should be fairly quiet)

this is about the only way to find out of round or warped without a dial indicator

but i bet if you replace em it will feel great again

the longest my car sits is a couple of days its probbably warped rotors over rust pitting
