Default want to remove the bumper absorber

I want to remove the bumper absorber on my neon cause I went on to the car wash and I was washing my car when the black paint came off my bumper absorber. Now the bumper absorber is all white and I don't like it. My question is can I remove the bumper absorber or can I just do the cut outs for the grille. Thanks.

The foam pad? You can remove it, but it helps the bumper keep it's shape and not crack when pressure it applied to it, for example, if someone were to bump the front of your car. Not sure how it's white though, they are all black foam AFAIK, unless someone painted it.

Can i just do the cut outs for the grill so the white won't show? If i remove the bumper do i have to remove the chrome bezels in front of the bumper?

What cutouts exactly? If it's what I'm thinking off, you'd have to completely block them off which you would not want to do.

Can you take a pic and circle where you are talking about in MS Paint or something?

Paint it black again with Plastic compatible spray paint. or go to the salvage yard and get an OEM one.
