i went and got a new muffler put on and i kind of dont liek it everybody that i know say they like but it dosent sound right to me im thinking about putting a resonator on it because i ordered a header and it should come in anyday its a obx race header with the down pipe. so im eliminating the cat. will the resonator effect the horsepower, sustain of improve it.

 

Im a truck guy but from what i have heard it will do nothing for you.

 

If you are putting a header on, wait till you get it on to decide if you like the sound or not. When I put my header on the sound change totally. I have the kirk racing which is also eliminates the cat.
