The codes are there to help diagnose a problem. You can either get the codes or just throw money at the car until (if) you manage to stumble onto the cause of the problem.

 

well i had the codes and fixed everything it said was wrong but the problem is still there so im gonna get the codes again.

but i cleaned the IAC and while i was taking the filter box off i look down and notice a bunch of zip ties on the cpu so i noticed there is 4 wiring harnesses atached and the bottom one is almost off the clip is broke so i wraped a big hose clamp around the hole thing and that might be the problem i will let you all know im gonna put the bitch back together and drive after dinner

 

so thats what it was the damn cpu kept getting unplugged
