Default Putting a sound system in 2001 Dodge Neon RT

Hey guys, I have a quick question. My friend wants a system in her car and shes buying it from my brother but the thing is, is that the deck is weird. Its all connected and the CD's go in at the bottom underneath her radio. Its a 4 CD disk changer, you pop the CDs in the bottom and they play through the radio up top. Is there a way a system can be installed with this kind of setup?

Thanks in advance!

easiest way to know is pop the deck out and look at the rear unless you had a product number or something you could Google it for the specs other than that need more info

Yes. You can put in a regular cd player and leave the factory player under the bottom. Or you can take it all out and find the pocket that goes in there. This was the first radio I put in.

i had the same thing but they don't make a wiring harness for the 05 neon so i had to get a stock harness from an 04 to put in my 05 to set up a system but it worked great

I have a 2001 Chrysler and I have the same setup, with a stereo up top and the cd changer below. My cd changer does not seem to be connected and I am having trouble finding the connector that connects it to the stereo. Do you know what type it is and where I could find one?
