Default 02 SE to 03+ Front End Swap

I'm getting ready to buy parts to swap the front end in my neon. My car is white and I'm thinking about going with the SRT front end as I really like the beefy look, Projector or HID headlights (Whats your opinion on these two?). Any suggestions as where to get the best prices and what all I will have to change. From what I can tell it appears as though I will need to replace the bumper cover, head lights, and hood (although I think the hood can be done at a later time?)

All advice and opinions are welcomed!

Hood can be later. The only "problem" is a gap between the hood and the bumper cover. You'll need the SRT washer bottle too.

HIDs go in projector lenses...so you'll need both to do it right.

So I'd need to buy projector lights assembly and an HID conversion kit?

Good to know. I bought my Mitsubishi Spyder with the Hid conversion already installed. I wanted to replace the stock headlights with projector lights but wasn't sure how. Now I know. Thanks Darth

Got the bumper painted and ready to put the grill in but I cant figure out how it attaches to the bumper. Its the sxt bumper with fog lights. The grill is one piece and has tabs on it and the bumper has tabs too but I cant seem to make it fit right. Are there extra clips i need? Also are the chrome pieces necessary? I've searched for diagrams or how to's but couldnt find anything. If someone has a diagram or how to that'd be really helpful! I'm hoping to get this done and installed on Friday

It's been awhile, but I believe the grille snaps onto the bumper and the chrome pieces snap on over that.

So your thinking the chrome pieces are necessary?

They aren't necessary. Hell, the bumper cover isn't necessary. I do believe that the bumper cover looks...incomplete without them. You'll have all sorts of holes just sitting there where those pieces should be. If you are worried about them being chrome, paint them black or the body color.

I don't mind the chrome so much other than its the only chrome on the car. I did order the pieces today as, like you said, it looks incomplete. I'm happy with the fresh new look.

Here are some pics, I'll post the another once I get the chrome pieces on
