Default 3rd plug cylinder

ok so the cylinder for my 3rd plug to driver is raised maybe a 1/8" about the headgasket cover...the other three are fine. i was changing plugs and noticed it yesterday. There also is oil on the wire boot. Could that just be bc that cylinder has raised somehow? How do i push the cylinder back down i have tried to do it without removing the cover bc i didnt have a new gasket for it. I need to know how this can be done without going to a dealership b/c im low on funds thanks

The o-ring for the spark plug tube is probably messed up. It's a quick job and it cost around $30 for the valve cover gasket and o-rings.

If the spark plug tube is raised, you could also try tapping the tube back in gently with something soft, like a piece of wood, and see if that fixes the problem. If not, then go pickup the VC gaskets and rings.
