Default 2000 Neon PCM replace, need flashed?

I picked up a PCM from the junk yard and the full pump turns on but it doesnt crank.

Does the PCM need to be flashed?

My key is NOT chipped either. The part number on the PCM is identical my PCM. The only difference is the vin number (obviously) and the module s/n

Is there any real way to check if the PCM is bad?

Noone has responded to my other post so I figured I would try swaping out parts and maybe fix it, luckly the junk yard will let me return the PCM.

If you have a grey, chipped key, the PCM needs to be flashed. The black keys are just a basic $1.00 key from the hardware store.

This is the only thing I found for testing the PCM. It's from the 2003-2005 shop manual, but it doesn't seem like there is anything specific to those years.

I have a black non chipped key, so I'm wondering if the junkyard PCM is bad since I willnot crank with it in.

As far as checking the PCM how do I know what pin is what on the connector?

Default Fixed

I replaced the Crank Position Sensor and it runs now.

I am hoping the wires werent bad and by moving them it may have fixed the problem but I guess I will find out.
