i was lookin at this intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-F...spagenameZWDVW and that cost way to much for me rite now! i was wondering if i could just get a k&n filter and a heat shield and then maybe cut the bottom of my airbox out to get some cool air from the bottom of my car and get about the same hp out of it instead of spendin 230 bucks? and would a k&n filter be the best filter for me to get? anyone know of any better?

 

You could just use the caravan intake filter and swap...good for a few ponies. Just find one at your local junkyard...
