I was changing oil on the neon tonight, and I noticed that the remaining OE headlight is crazing enough to let water in. Has anyone had to change headlights because of hairline cracking. It is not fogged at all, clear as glass, just full of crazed lines which have become porus. Are the ebay cheapies any good, or do I just see the dealer to get one that fits without any problems in the fitting department?

 

People seem to use basic replacements off of eBay without problems. That's what most buy to either get the black housing, or to get units in which they can remove the lens to do a projector retrofit or custom paint job.

 

Or take this opportunity to change to hid's.
