honestly i am looking to build a 2.0T dohc with a small budget and that seemed like a good idea
all i am asking is before i rip my old head off will oil and coolant passages from an srt head match the 2.0 block i will be using the srt intake and exhaust manifolds
another issue that crosses my mind is will the valves tap the pistons if left stock

The SRT heads have a tear shaped oil passage on the rear I think it is. That has to be filled/plugged. I believe you can use an earlier 2.4 DOHC head and the oil passage will be the way it should be. From what I've read, sometime in 2002 is when it changed. You are going about it the right way and there are many people who have done the swap. This project is beyond me as I've never read much beyond the occasional post about it.
If you Google something like "2gn neon 2.0 to 2.4 head swap," you will find tons of threads from Neon places all over the internet about the subject.
Here's a thread from the 1gn section here with some information, as the 2.0s were the same. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...swap-info.html
