Angry Urgent! Need some serios help.

Getting off the freeway last night, my 2001 dodge neon, manual trans, seemingly would not shift into any gear. The clutch doesnt seem to be engaging, and the tranny wont shift. Now, this morning, when I start my car, it makes a horrible whining sound, dies when shifted, and the clutch STILL doesnt seem to be engaging. This is an emergency, I cannot miss work so if anyone hasan answer, PLEASE let me know. Thank you.

Sounds like you need a Clutch. But Check Cluth fluid level just to make sure. How many miles you got on the car?

Very possible too. But you still have to pull the trans out to get to it, and might as well change the clutch.
