so im thinking of lowering my neon about 1- 1.5 inch but not sure exactly how to go about it ive heard if you just buy the lowering springs with stock struts u could blow them anyone here lowered on stock ?

 

Depends on how you drive, where you live and what springs you get. Some drive 100K miles just fine; others make it 5K. If I personally put lowering springs on the stock struts, I'd have the money for new struts just in case. Unless, it isn't too big of a deal to get a few hundred when you need it. Since I don't want to spend $400 on struts that I don't really need (hence why my car isn't lowered), I'm just waiting until I need new struts. I'll spend the extra $150 then and get new springs.
