Default Oil pan?

My brother borrowed my neon, and hit something hard enough to hairline crack the oil pan. I epoxied it for now, and it is holding, but I am paranoid, and constantly checking the oil, to the point it is becoming a PITA. I was on Moroso's website, thinking that while I'm at it, good idea to add some capacity since I have to change it anyways. What is the difference between 02, and 03 as far as the pan is concerned, because it is listed for 95-02?
I really would like to have 7 Qt of oil, and be able to go from a 5,000 mile oil change to a 10,000 mile interval, that way I only have to change oil every 3 months instead of every 6 weeks as it is now.

You can only add capacity by adding height, which is going to increase the chances of hitting the pan on something again. As for the pan itself though, I don't know that there is a difference. You could look in the parts manuals sticky and see if the part numbers are the same.

I checked, and the Doorman number is the same from 1997-2005. I just can't see why Moroso, and OBX both only list it up to 02. It has a kicked out sump instead of being deeper, it is wider. Has anyone installed a larger pan on a 03+ 2.0?
