Can anyone share some insight on these Diagnostic codes? I did research and want to specifically find the problems to fix.

2002 Dodge Neon (base)
Vin # 1B3ES26C62D560101

My OBD ii Diagnostic codes are :

P0735 Gear Ratio Error In Fifth Gear
P0992 Trans Fluid Press Sens/Switch E Circuit Range/Performace
P0733 Gear Ratio Error In Third Gear
P0846 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch B Circuit Range/Performace
P0732 Gear Ratio Error In Second Gear
P0700 Transaxle Control System Malfunction

When I looked up a different source of Dodge manufacturer specific codes I got a different description for these codes:

P0992 2/4-od hydraulic pressure test failure
P0846 2/4 pressure switch sense circuit

Any ideas? Could there be a possible solenoid pack failure? Problem with the TCM?

Just for giggles, have you double checked the ground on the engine?

Add a secondary cable regardless of what a meter tells you. I'm thinking an intermittent ground failure could be triggering the "failures".

 

Seems like a lot of solenoid pack codes. Has the fluid and filter ever been changed?
