Question Lowering Question

What setup is recommended to lower a 2000 Dodge Neon? I know there are complete lowering suspension kits, lowering springs or the ghetto way of just cutting springs. Whats the difference between these and will any of these be better or worse for the overall performance of my car?

Ghetto is exactly that, so depending where "ghetto" falls into your definition of good or bad mods... Just springs on stock struts tend not to work so well. This would be above ghetto and would work, but the question is how long until the stock struts blow. Next up is the most common way of buying aftermarket struts like Tokicos and adding the lowering springs onto those. The "best" way is coilovers: max performance lowering.
