My wife drives the Neon regularly,and insists that the head lights and fog lights are on all the time day or night.She says she feels safer. Also the AC and radio/CD is on all the time. My question is,should I change the battery cables to 4 gauge? I assume the the standard ones are 8 gauge. I don't want to overtax the electrical/electronic system. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

You'll be fine. As long as you don't have an overly large subwoofer in the back unlike me.

 

if you gonna upgrade the cables, do the grounds & alternator too. But like the rest of us with 10's or 15's in the trunk ya really don't need it. If the alt goes bad you can sawp it for a high output unit from a PT @ the junk yards, best 35 bucks I've spent at junk yards in a while lol
