My 2005 Neons transmission went bad (120k miles). It locked up in to limp home mode 60 miles from home. So I drove 40 mph with the heater on to keep from over heating the engine in 94 degree heat for 2 hours.
Traded it in on a 2006 Sentra so i'm out of here.
