What range of year ATX's will fit a 2000 neon, 31TH? So far, I've picked up that 1st gen through '02 will just bolt right on, but I'd like to be clear.

I figured my kickdown band might've been out of adjustment, which is why i only had 1st gear. it was too tight (assuming tightening it down, as in ratcheting clockwise, tightened the band) so im guessing that band got burnt up. if that is the case, my options are to pull the transmission again and either do a full fledged rebuild this time, or go buy a used one in working order.

 

2002 was the first year of electronic transmissions. Whole different thing. 2001 and older is what I'd stick with (if that's what the 1gn's had too).
