i dont know if this is a known trick, but i happened to discover it when taking mine apart (turns out, i installed the rollers and spring in the overrunning clutch incorrectly, thats why D wouldn't engage :P) anyway, you can use the starter mounting bolts to remove the oil pump. there are two holes with larger threads on opposing sides, intended for the uber expensive removal tool im sure, but you can use either both starter mounting bolts, or one at a time, to remove it. you just thread it in and start tightening, and it will push it out, nice and easy. thought this might be a good sticky, again, unless others already know about it, and im just simply 'rediscovering' it.
