I want to put a set on 18" wheels on my 03 SXT, tire size is 225/40/18..... the problem is that they rub the strut tower (i think that is what it is called??) I need to put wheel spacers on so that means longer wheel studs will be needed. So my question is does anyone know where i can find wheel studs that are about 1" longer than stock??? Also, if there are ANY suggestions on what to do besides spacers & studs then that info is very welcome also. THANKS ALOT IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!

 

just curious, why not just go with 17s, so you wont have to mess with spacers?

 

What about going with a different size tire? I don't know a lot about the fitment of 18s....but what about going with a 205 or a 215 tire instead. Maybe it won't rub?

 

go to advance auto, they have different sizes in the back, ask them if you can go back there and look, they shouldnt have a problem with it, good luck..
