I need to replace my radiator in my 01 Neon. Due to price I am going to pull one from the wrecking yard. Question is, Can I use a radiator from an 03 or an 04? I know the Transmissions are not the same so I wasn't sure if the Tranny lines going into the radiator would be the same. Having this Info will save me some time before getting there and give me more options if they fit. Thanks.

 

03, and 04 are 2nd gen, they have many similar parts.

manual trans does need to cool off, so no trans lines to radiator.

If you want to know if it fit or not, find out the size of the bolt, and then compare it to the one at the car junkyard.

 

they will fit fine, just check for stress cracks on top and at the hose connection. Its the aftermarket cheapies you have to watch out for, but I got mine from RockAuto the 2nd time around and it's done great when we had a week of 110+ temps outside
