Default 2005 SXT issues

Today while traveling at 55 mph car seemed to downshift, rpms shot up to 5500, car slowed down considerably. Car temp gauge also shot through the roof, I turned the AC off and it cooled back down. I pulled over, heard some serious squeaking from the passenger side of the engine around the belts. Turned car off wnd back om and ran fine, except the car temp would go up after the AC was on for a while. Also, the AC would get warm at idle, I would take off again and it would get cold again.

A few days ago I got camshaft-crankshaft correlation code, I took the car apart and switched out the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and water pump. Got the car put back together, everything seemed to be working fine, drove it about 50 miles. light came back on again.

I now have a transmission control module code(P0700), along with an evap code(P0441).

It has 85K miles, regular tune ups and oil changes.

The fact that you are having transmission and cooling issues along with a TCM fault code, I'd check your transmission fluid and coolant to make sure the two fluids haven't mixed. That will destroy your transmission. If caught early enough, the transmission can be saved.

^^ +1

And if they aren't mixed it sounds like the trans could be overheating.
