Default Popping When Turning

When I turn with velocity (around 15 MPH), I hear and feel a slight "pop" in the steering wheel. The sound is coming from the front end. I suspect ball joints. Some have suspected CV joint. What could it be? It won't be in a shop until next week.

Sounds like tie rods possibly.

I'd check the ball joints and tie rod ends.

That's what I was thinking. If it were the CV joint, wouldn't it be making noises no matter what the conditions were?

They generally click constantly whenever the car is in motion, yeah.

-If the cv joints are just starting to go, they will only make noise while turning. When going straight they will still be pretty quiet. But after they've worn out enough, they will make noise all the time when driving...

It was the sway bar link that connects to my lower motor mount.

-Now that's a lot cheaper than new cv joints! Glad you got it fixed...
