Default Error Code P0340

This is my issue. I have spent the last month replacing my head gasket.

04 Dodge Neon
2.0L SOHC

Following was done to my car by ME:
2 New Drive Belts
New Radiator Cap
New Thermostat
New Water Pump
New Timing Belt
New Timing Belt Tensioner
New Spark Plug Cables
New Spark Plug tubes
New Spark Plugs
New Camshaft Position Sensor
New Head Gasket Kit
Clean Valves

After installing everything and putting the engine back together I started the car and was running fine and sounded amazing. Drove it around for about 3 miles (around the block a few times), then parked it in the drive way and was letting it idle. After idling for about 3 minutes the car just shut off. Went to turn it back on and just cranks but doesn't turn, sounds like it's stalled.

Turned the car on and off 3 times to get a display of Code P0340. For those of you who don't know, if your engine light is on you can just turn the car on and off 3 times and the display will show you the error code. No need to take it to the shop to have someone use a OBD2 reader. I also confirmed the error code with my OBD2 reader.

I replaced the Camshaft Sensor and reset the fault codes but car still wont start. Just cranks but doesn't turn. I have also ordered a new camshaft adjuster magnet, thinking maybe the magnet lost it's power and the sensor isn't able to read the magnet. All the connections are fine and none are stripped or shorting.

According to Dodge specs this is what P0340 means:
- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor
- Faulty starter motor
- Starting system circuit
- Dead (Weak) battery

I am asking the community to help me fix my car and to come up with any possible ideas as in what may be causing the fault code.

Almost. The odometer won't show any transmission codes other than P0700, which is the general fault code.

You can test the CMP with a voltmeter. That might tell you if it is a wiring issue (for sure instead of just a visual inspection) or a sensor/magnet issue (these cars often tend to reject non-OEM sensors, or the sensor is DOA). If it is getting the correct voltage and it's grounded, it shouldn't be a wiring problem but a sensor/magnet problem. The magnets can very well cause the code too and isn't all that uncommon either.
