I was just wondering where the extra 18 hp came from on the rt neon. Its the same enginge and all I have been able to find that is different is the comprehession ration, 9.2:1 on the sxt (mine) and 9.8:1 on the rt. If there is anything else I would really like to know.

 

The RT has a more agressive cam, PCM, and a better manifold. There might be more but I believe that's about it.

 

The head flows better as well. But thats about it.
