That fact that you have a misfire code and the CEL is blinking: is it blinking while you are driving? If so, that is a major misfire and you shouldn't drive the car until you fix it.

Thanks, it's not on now or blinking while driving. In a few days I'm sure it will come back on, but it never was blinking while driving. I was told not to use the car if its blinking while I'm driving.

 

If it isn't flashing while you are driving, then it's the same thing as above.

 

So there's is still a missing fire, with engine light off? Do I have to wait until the engine light stays on to get the code? It's not on now.

 

The check engine light is not turned on by every code. Usually only serious problems are the ones that turn on the CEL. If you are having a misfire on just one cylinder, it's likely either the spark plug, plug wire or fuel injector/injector wiring.

 

Went from no trouble codes the last few days to the miss fire code again. I switched the spark plug wire and spark plug. The garage installed a new coil pack. It was ok for a few days, no codes. Now should I switch 1 and 2 injectors next? Then what?

Did you check your Spark tubes? Sometimes they lift or "Pop" out of the head and oil leaks into the plugs causing a misfire... I've got a video on Youtube showing how I repaired mine in about an hour and a half with some Sleeve Retaining compound and a valve cover gasket set.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like low psi in my 2 cylinder. I need to retest with a different gauge. I hope it not that, car runs well besides the mil lite.

 

I now get a PO302 code on my dash, along with the 10 blinks of the engine lite. after turning key off and on three times. Great info if you don't have a code reader, or broke down on the side of the road.
