need help
hello all i have a 2000 dodge neon that has started messing up recently all of a sudden wen i turn the lights on everything cuts off and wont turn back on for a while can anyone tell me what is going on its my first car it was my aunts and i hate to get rid of it because of something that might have something so small of a problem i can fix on my own it has sentimental value because she gave it to me as a 18th b day present right before she passed can anyone help its greatly appreciated.

also the rear speakers have gone out they are in perfectly good condition it used to cut in and out the it totally stopped i tested the power theres no power art the connectors what do i do to finsd were the problem is without gutting the car

For your second problem use a multimeter to follow the wires until you find the short.

well when i turn the headlights on everything cuts off dash lights, the lights and the engine and everything else and nothing will start. the first time was 10 minutes ans the second time it happened, before i set it in the back yard, lasted about an hour before it let me turn anything on. the last time was a week ago it started about 10 days ago. before that i used it regularly.
