Default Lowering Springs

So i have a 2005 SXT with about 120k on it...
I've been looking into getting some lowering springs (Eibach). From the research that i've done it looks like sportlines look nicer but you loose a bit of ride quality, there is also the problem with struts that i've read about. Will I need to get new struts if i go sportline (rather than pro), and what is a good brand suggestion/price?

You should aftermarket performance struts to go with any non-OEM type spring. The harsher rates will damage the stock struts. How quickly depends on the physical condition of the roads you drive on, the current condition of your struts and how you drive.

I would suggest new struts with either the Prokit or Sportlines...Tokico HP Blues were the go-to option back in the day (still on the market as far as I know, and very reasonably priced). Your other option would be to find low mile SRT-4 struts, but I would imagine low mile units are hard to come by in 2012. There are other aftermarket brands out there too, but the Blue's were excellent performers.

Also IMO, the Prokit was the best compromise between lowerehd eight, handling, and actual ride comfort.
