Ok. So I just got an '05 SXT with a mtx. I was taking the stick out and realized that it had a return spring (I guess you would call it that). It was pretty simple to take out, but a serious PITA to put back in. My question would be, when I replace the stick, is there a magical trick in getting it back in? Is there some tool I could use to keep the spring open while I'm putting the stick in? What are my options here?
