Ok. I have a 2002 neon with a header. Im buying the srt-4 rear pipes to come out the back. I no i wont have a muffler but my cat is still on the car. Will this be rediculasly loud compared to the fart can on there now, Because i might have to put a resonator on. thanks

my guess is your gonna need something. and without a muffler your gonna get alot of that backfiring poping and girigling sound. personally i dont like that, but its up to you. in my opinion srt4 exhaust on a neon is not a good idea. also i believe you loose quite a bit of back pressure

 

Its gonna be loud. I would not suggest it.

 

Not as loud as you all think its and cool loud .The kind of loud that everyone asks me is that turboed. Get so many complaiments for my srt exhaust. The cops dont mind it . Ive had it on for like 4 months now no problem with back pressure helps I have a typhoon intake. Gettin a muffler just takes away from the coolness of having the srt on your neon. Try it for awhile and then see if you like the sound or not. Too each is every own I guess.Hey ground the srt is much cooler than my r/t. Congrats on the new dual setup.

 

Ok well im still waitning on it but he is giving me the hole srt exhaust from the cat back. I no it comes with two resonators so it should quiet it down.
