Default 05 better throttle response i guess?

okay so I was just wondering is there any way to make it where when I hit the gas its instant throttle instead of where it like sucks in a big air glob then goes?

I have the 05 2.0 automatic

Manual transmission. Every automatic does that unless it is beefed up.

He's talking about the lag the engine has when you mash the throttle down; not a lack of air to the engine (rich condition). Every automatic does that because the transmission is trying to find the correct gear based on the [new] engine conditions. It takes a second.

Cold air intake and open exhaust should help a little bit and clean everything
