evap emission

Default evap emission

today i got a code of evap canister small leak i got that code before and i just tighten the gas cap and i went away so does anybody else getting that code so how do i get rid of it do i get a new rubber o-ring???

I had that EVAP code for years. I just fixed that code recently by plugged the EVAP hose back into the throttle body. My mechanic unplugged it, he forgot to plug it back.

A new gas cap isn't that expensive, if that is what you are thinking it is. There are also EVAP lines coming off of the carbon canister by the right, rear wheel. They can develop small cracks that will give that code.
