I just got a 2005 NEON SXT 5 sp and they didn't have any 5 spds around here w/ cruise control. This is replacing our family minivan with the $$$$ recent gas hikes, so I would really like to get Cruise in it. How hard is it to add cruise and where can I buy something either OEM or OEM type? Thanks

 

I dont know to much in the way of installing the cruise control, but you can definaely find it just about any place that sells neon parts.

i have CC in mine... and i hardly use it (not on the highway too much anyways). If you really want CC go for it man.

 

I am sure you can get all the parts from the dealer. I would ask them if its an 05 what they can do for you. Also I know JC Whitney sells cruise kits.

 

Indeed, I bought an '04 5-speed last night and it doesn't have it. Neither did any of the other 5-speeds that I looked at, including the brand new SRT-4 at the dealer where I got it. That car had everything and was dressed to $26k, but did not have CC. I gotta get it.

 

u should be able to get CC from any auto parts store i believe its universal but yea my other suggestion is to go to a dismantler (if u want it cheap) and get it from one that might have it there or the Dealer but dealers always charge an arm, a leg, and ur first born....

 

dodgeparts.com have OEM cruise control kits for $198. I have yet to find out about installation - is it a DIY? Or would it be best to take it to a dealer? If anyone out there knows, please fill us in.
