Tranny swap
I was wondering what all it takes to swap out a auto to a 5spd? What years of 5spds will fit a 2004 neon and other then the console shifter pedal netural saftey switch will the computer pick it up?

Swap with a 2000-2005 Dodge Neon's manual transmission. It should fit on your car with no problem.
Use the manual transmission mount, and bracket instead.
One guy swapped his auto trans to manual trans (on a Dodge Neon). He even wrote a HowTo tutorial. The instructions are fairly simple. The tutorial is found somewhere on the internet.
He did not has to replace the TCM, but ended up replaced the TCM to make cruise control works properly.
