Cool Pvc-puddle

After reading many posts here and all are very helpful with useful information.
I undid my throttle body and sure enough there was a nice size puddle of oil
in the intake.Oh vehicle is an 05 neon sxt 4dr. I really cant believe dodge would build such a poor pvc system .It also seems to happen to other vehicles
built by dodge. Why???????? And I also wonder why all the trouble with vibrations and noise from replacing torque struts ,motor mounts and or timing belt happens with neons and not PT cruisers or that other model car by dodge with same engine. I WONDER.

PT Cruisers have a 2.4L engine. Neons have a 2.0L engine..

If the oil in the intake bothers you that much, install a catch can.

I can't seem to understand what this post is even intended to ask, or if it is just to bash on your Neon.

I looked at the manual book. They recommend to replace the PCV valve at 60,000 miles or 90,000 miles.
It's only a few bucks but it will save you more later.

Some cars have baffles in the valve cover to prevent oil from being suck out.
A catch can will catch oil for you.
Make sure the breather hose isn't clogged, or vacuum suck oil out.

I'm too lazy to check my intake manifold for oil.
I will just replace the pcv valve.
I wouldn't worry if little oil found in there.
