Default Cam position sensor P0340 need help

Hello I have a 2004 Dodge Neon 2.0 with a code P0340 cam shaft position sensor, after removing the battery and installing the sensor, reinstalling the battery, the car will not start everything comes on.
Checked all the fuses and relay and ground wires, still will not the starter clicks but will not turn engine over?

Have you tried a Jump start? or clean the battery terminal?

Tried a jump start fist, charged, cleaned terminals, checked all the ground connections, and all the will do is click.

I don't know if it is related to what you did, but sounds like your Starter is dead.

I finally found the problem, the flexable ground cable from the starter/engine block to the battery box was frayed, you could not see it unless looking from under the engine. Just replaced it with a new one, it started right up, I was ready to take the starter off to have it checked. Thanks.
