had a small evap leak around inspection time then the engine light just shut off and now today im throwing a large evap leak. can it just be as simple as a hose cracked or i also read something about hoses near your air box?

Yes,
unplugged hose, cracked hoses, lose gas cap, bad purge solenoid are a few things to check.

Search Google Image for "Evap system".

The fact that it went from small to large: is the gas cap loose? Perhaps an old or worn out gas cap gasket? It could also be cracked lines coming off of the carbon canister. They are well known to crack and cause evap leak codes.

were is the evap can located ? 2008 avenger got a po455
