help ps pump
If you are going to rebuild it, why wouldn't it stop making the squeal noises?
Like most pumps, I think it's the bearing on this pump that has wore out. You will need to replace the bearing to stop the noises, or at least put some grease in it.

It's not a squealing belt? If you are thinking about rebuilding it, you may as well look at a re-manufactured one. A lot of the time, the re-man'd units are the same price or less than a rebuild kit, and they are ready to go.
These parts aren't very popular, so you have to search them nation wide.
Try sites like ebay.com, or search Google.
Be careful not to trust anyone.

Local parts stores have reman'd units without the reservoir for ~$100. If you are buying from a parts store, I wouldn't worry about wearing a tin foil hat as suggested. I'd be more worried about buying a used one from a junkyard.
