I need help looking for a 55mm throttle body for my 2005 sxt. I plan on getting a K&N typhoon intake and a Magnaflow catback exhaust system with the throttle body. If anyone knows any good website where they sell throttle bodies it would be much appreciated.

modernperformance.com will have new ones, if you can get them for a Neon anymore...

 

I've checked modernperformance multiple times and I've also checked Jegs, neither have any throttle bodies for a 2005 Sxt neon

 

You'll likely have to find a used one. Neons haven't been made for 8 years now, and aftermarket TBs for them weren't exactly mass produced either. You could also look into using a Mustang or I think a Jeep TB.

 

A Jeep TB is 60mm at the opening and tapers to 57 or 58mm and you have to tweak with the TPS if I'm not mistaken. If the motor is stock and all you're doing is exhaust and CAI, the stock TB is all you need or you're going to bog if you floor it at low RPM. Plus the oh so wonderful NGC system will negate any positive gains after not too long. Is the car an auto or manual?
