Default SOHC help

I have a motor from a 2000 dodge neon sohc that i had rebuilt prior to totalling the car. I had bought a 2003 and this other motor just sits. (still in car in yard) I was wondering what kind of build i could do with it that would add a decent amount of horsepower without going crazy on spending. I was looking into turbo systems. The motor is brand new. all new belts, new head, new summit racing KB racing pistons, all new bearings, gaskets, about the only thing origional is the crank and piston rods. I am just looking for ideas on what i could do with this motor. now that its become a spare id like to do something with it.

Horsepower costs money, especially on small engines. Something like a turbo system would probably be your best bet.

What compression pistons? If you're thinking of sticking the motor in the '03 you're gonna want megasquirt.

trust me i know. i know it costs. im just weighing options. i figured turbo would be the the best route i was just wondering what the other options would be. all specs are stock i never bored it out or did any shaving of the head. my origional goal was to just get it running since it was my daily.
