can i put a 2000 str4 dual exhaust on my 2001 neon es with no real mods? and how will it sound? wut im sayin is it a direct bolt in? thanxs to all for helpin me out and all who responded to my otherposts

 

Yes it will fit on your neon and yeah direct bolt on no problem at least not with my 04 sxt I just have a typhoon intake and upgraded plugs and wires. Also works nice on my auto . Its loud but everyone on here thinks its ricey but ricey wins shows.Plus im addin nitrous.So try it if you dont like it sell it they sell nicely on ebay. Good luck

 

There is no 2000 SRT-4...

 

yeah SRT-4's came in 2003+ POSSIBLY a 2002 model but last I knew is 2003 and up.

The SRT-4 exhaust is meant to be run with a turbo (which quiets the sound). I don't like the sound of the SRT exhaust on the Neon.

 

If any neon owners would like a stock R/T exhaust and custom bent piping for a cat-back system let me know I got a whole kit because me and my partner we're going to buy a neon and build a Street machine. however money got tight and we got into a 318 engine...
