A fuse? I'm jumping terminal 87 with battery on a switch, which I'll just manually intermittently turn off and on.
Also when I hit my switch, it also turns on the A/C fan. Didn't have to fiddle with the A/C fan.

You can jump the compressor all you want, in theory it won't work unless the radiator fan is also running. Granted, it would be running all the time with it being 100 degrees all the time.
Also, if I'm thinking correctly, the A/C system cycles on and off. It cycles off to relieve excess pressure, and it cycles on to build pressure (high and low pressure switches respectively.). If the A/C compressor is not cycled on or off at the right moment, damage to the compressor and/or refrigerant lines can result.

That's cool bro.. but I've been going two weeks now with A/C working perfectly fine on my command. And I cycle on/off the compressor every 4-5 minutes. All is good
Plus I have to leave the blower on "low" cuz the A/C is just so damn cold. $30 worth of supplies just saved me $300+ on fixing the wiring issue.

haha.. hopefully I'll have a newer economic vehicle before that happens. As for now, it's not bad, really. As long as I leave to use the cabin's air the cooling lasts a long time.Originally Posted by TejasMtnBiker
lol eventually you'll get tired of the manual switching effect and trace a wire or two
