Default about the coilovers

I called Speed Concept (located in Aloah Oregon, Dont ever buy from them anybody!) and they said that they did ship me the right ones and that There might need to make modifications to the part..which is BS.. cause I orderd these coilovers made for a 2nd gen. neon.. I shouldnt need to make modifications..they are just trying to get another 100$ out of me so they can install them...No what should i do..threaten to take em to court?

And does anyone know how rough the ride will be if i just install the coils and not the adjuster?

COILOVERS ARE PRETTY MUCH UNIVERAL. I HAVE A 2ND GEN. NEON AND WHEN I GOT MY COILOVERS I THOUGHT THEY WEREN'T THE RIGHT ONES EITHER. BUT ACTUALLY WHERE THE RIGHT ONES. THERE IS A LOT OF PARTS YOU NEED TO REMOVE FROM YOUR STRUT INORDER FOR COILOVERS TO FIT, BUT YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO THE COILOVER AS FAR AS MODIFICATIONS TO MAKE THEM FIT. AND YES YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE ADJUSTERS ON BECAUSE IF YOU DONT YOURS SPRINGS WONT HAVE ANYTHIING TO GLIDE ON WHEN YOU TURN. THIS WILL CAUSE HORRIBLE ANNOYING, VERY LOUD POPS AND CRACKS WHEN YOU TURN. ALSO, COILOVERS ARE VERY BOUNCY WHICH GETS VERY OLD AFTER 2 WEEKS. GO WITH A NICE SET OF SPRINGS.

You have to remove the to ring off of the top of main strut cartrige so the adjuster sleeve will slide down all the way. I used mylare rings that I hand cut, and put them on top of the new coil over top hats. I did this on the fronts so I could do away with the old neon top hats and bearings. It's kinda hard to explain, and I have no pictures to show. But mylare is slick and let's you turn with out the steering binding, or making load pops.

A small hammer, and just tapped it off. The mylare rings I put between the new coil over top hat and the mounting plate. The rings are 1/4 thick 2" outside and 7/8 inside. When I think about it I spray a little teflon spray on them. I have no coil bind when I turn
